"Thanks to all my fans and followers of my website, we've received more webpage visits the past 6 months then the past 2 years...This has been a month of ups and downs when it came to recruiting my league allowed 2 American Import players. I wanted 2 D-1 NCAA football players and was blessed to sign them. We've signed D1-FCS DB Ryan McGuinness from the UNH. We've also signed a D1-FCS 2010 National Champion QB Nick Gauthier from EWU. Both Players are great young men on and off the field. Boy I can't wait until May 3rd when I move to Finland and take this first step to a championship ring. The only part that is missing is my beautiful wife Rayah Weinke. I'm blessed to have such as great person, best friend, and wife in my life!!....And as always Go Indians!!!!" - 3/22/12

"I first off want to thank all my family, friends and fans for all there support this past 2011 NCAA Season at St. Olaf College. We had a great year and finished 8-2 and being ranked as high as 5th in the West Region and #17 in the Country. Unfortunatly we were just a last second FG short of missing the D3 Playoffs. I want to thank the whole Ole staff (OJ, B, Bear, G.Lo, T.B., Lerf, Sternie, King and Mac) and especially my RB's (L.C., Foss, Mikey, Ortiz, Show, Davis, Colt and Karl) for a great year. But as one season ends another begins and I'm pleased to announce I have signed a 2 year professional contract to be the Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator with the Kouvola Indians located in Finland of the American Football Association of Finland (SAJL). I would like to thank GM Mika Lindholm for selecting me over all the other candidates. I'm very excited for training camp to start in May with the season ending in August/September but I just wanted to let everyone know I will STILL be having the 2nd annual FreddieWeinke.com FREE Youth Football Camp this Summer. The camp dates and location will be announced very soon and we could possibly even have 2 different camps, stay tuned....." - 1/19/2012

"First off, I want to apologize to all my fans, friends and family for my first blog of the season. Long story short, The St. Olaf College Football Team is off to a 5-1 record overall. The Oles are #24 in the country by D3Football.com (http://d3football.com/top25/2011/week7) and #2 in the MIAC Conference. As far as post season play goes, we control our own destiny and this will be the 1st time in over 30 years St. Olaf will be in the Division III National Playoffs. On a side note; I would like to give special acknowledgment to Coach Olszewski, Coach Senske, Coach Bacoulis and Coach Lloyd as great mentors, coaches and family to me....Lastly we won Saturday and retained our 80+ year old rivalry Goat Trophy vs. Carleton College. Below you will see myself and my All-American RB Leon Clark with the Goat Trophy right after the game......Next week @ Augsburg College in downtown Minneapolis at 1PM....and as always, GO OLES!!!!" - 10/16/11
